Dell Social Innovation Competition: Enter Now

The University and Texas and Dell are looking for groundbreaking ideas from college students around the globe in the annual Dell Social Innovation Competition. These ideas and ventures address a pressing social issue such as human rights or global health. The grand prize-winning project receives $50,000 to put plans into action.

Past winners include Gardens for Health, an organization that improves the nutrition, health and treatment of people living with HIV/AIDS through sustainable agriculture, and SolarCycle, which produces sustainable, durable and affordable solar cookers and water pasteurizers using a material made of used plastic bags and the aluminized insides of potato chip bags.
