He seems to lack direction. With unemployment as high as it is today, it foolish to be flying around the world making speeches. None of it means anything until the US economy recovers.

His worldwide travels have been largely unnecessary. He needs to focus a little more on home and a little less on what Europe and other largely irrelevant parts of the world think of us. If he wants to go to China and smooth things over with them, though, by all means, go ahead.

What's really got the right crying is that the U.S. is back up to the most admired nation, up from where G.W.B left it. That's two things they can't stand - good news for the US, and good news for the President.

Republicanderthals can only have one thought at a time. Ever since the election the thought has been focused on how to discredit President Obama because he's not a WASP and is a Democrat.

At US$100,000 per hour to operate (Air Force One), I do hope that Mr Obama's frenetic globetrotting will begin to bear fruit soon.

Considering Bush spend 487 days at Camp David and 490 days at his ranch, I'm going to go out on a limb and say this is a far more productive use of a President's time.

Well if George Bush had not BURNED SO MANY BRIDGES WITH SO MANY COUNTRIES, and if his failed policies had not CRASHED THE WORLD ECONOMY, and if he had not told the WMD LIE which got us into Iraq, and if he had not ABANDONED THE MISSION IN AFGHANISTAN .............

Then I am CERTAIN that President Obama would not have had to travel so much just to CLEAN UP DUBYA'S MESS.

Reply    Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 07:05 PM on 10/07/2009

Bush made so many enemies all over the world, President Obama had to travel to speak to the leaders of those countries to make things right once more, we need friends who will work along with us not people who hate us. Thank goodness for our President.

We need to get this cat a ranch in Crawford--with lots and lots of brush. Then he can try to break his predecessors record for vacation time taken by POTUS. Who does he think he is, interacting with other "nations." There's only one nation--and we have the most NUKULAR.
