Pole Superstar Competition: National Pole Dancing Contest In New York (PHOTOS)

Last Thursday six of America's greatest poll dancers slid over to Manhattan to compete in the Pole Superstar Competition.

The winner of the national stripping contest was awarded $10,000 cash (and no, not all in singles). Proceeds went to the charitable organization S.P.I.N. (Single Parents In Need).

Sweet! :0) I like to see the lateral leg-spread though. A full lateral split is what I want to see each pole-dancer do. I was planning to see Ed Lover's "America's Next Top Stripper" competition in Brooklyn but I missed it.

I saw this sweet, super-flexible girl from St. Louis do this full lateral split, slide down the pole and touch-down onto the floor for an extra-wide split once she made contact. It was like a flower bloomed and I was utterly captivated. She was my favorite for the competition, but I actually missed it, due to getting too hammered the night before.

This pole dancing competition was sweet, but the photos didn't show the spiciest moves that pole-dancers will do.
