'Parks And Recreation' Spoofs Political Sex Scandals (VIDEO)

"Parks and Recreation" opened last night with a revelation from Pawnee City Councilman Bill Dexhart that he had sex with "a beautiful woman and her boyfriend and a third person whose name [he] never learned." Dexhart went on to say, "It was wrong of me to say I was building houses for the underprivileged when I was having four-way sex in a cave in Brazil." With the Spitzer, Sanford, and Ensign scandals (amongst others) fresh in our minds, the show's writers decided to create an episode about political dirt and scandal in general, that highlighted the pasts of each main character.

I hope they hit their stride before it's too late. I'm a fan af Amy Poehler but I don'ty think this was the best venue for her.

The last guy who spoke in that scene is not funny in the extreme. The show is terrible overall.

I'm sorry, last week's episode was my favorite. I loved April introducing herself to the pageant audience, "I like people, places, and thiiiiiiii­iiiiiiiiii­ings...."

It is getting better with each show but don't grow too fond of it as rumors are it is one of the most likely fall shows to get canceled soon.

Thats because it's garbage..."this format worked with the office so lets do it again just as the office is jumping the shark!"

This show has improved leaps & bounds since the premiere. Every episode this season has been very very funny. What was at first an pale imitation of the Office has really evolved into something special. Poehler is fantastic and the gent who plays her assistant 'Tom' is hilarious.
