Tea Party Patriots did not want to lose Amy Kremer. The Atlanta activist had co-founded the organization. She'd helped organize some of the biggest events in the nationwide Tea Party movement. Then, at the end of September, Kremer decided to join the Tea Party Express, a project of the conservative Our Country Deserves Better PAC that was embarking on its third cross-country round of anti-tax, anti-spending rallies.

This wasn't going to work for Tea Party Patriots...

Of course, the fact that their base wants to pay no taxes, and also keep their medicare, makes them something of a political hot potato. What they want is impossible: a country where the Federal government has no money or power, but where they also get retirement benefits and are kept safe. Neither party's going to support them. I guess our best hope is that they form a tea bag party made out of pure crazy that splits the Republican vote and consigns both of them to the political wilderness forevermore.

There is a world of difference between creating an angry mob and controlling an angry mob. It looks like the pseudo Christian lobbyists have lost control. The GOP lobbyists lawyers will probably step in to retain their political marketing trademark of 'teabaggers' as used in this context, with the full support of the Fox news network who will attack those that don't support the republican party line that the US must fail so that they can be assured of winning the next election.
