The NY Post is a major rag. Those of us who live here know it. It must be the guiltiest of guilty pleasures for HuffPo readers because I can't imagine any other reason to read it or believe anything in it.

I don't see why these other women have to disparage her. Derek Jeter's girlfriend? She is not married to him and Jeter changes girlfriends like he changes his under wear. Why the cattiness girls?. You might not be there tomorrow be you wife or girlfriend. So cool it and enjoy the spectacle.

Wives of pro athletes are in no position to call anyone hos. The drama and ho-dom that goes on around women who have pro athletes in their sights is mind-boggling. Then again, Kate Hudson is really not too impressive a person. She's about a day from her expiration date career-wise.
I was reading a book by one of the ex-wives and she described the groupies waiting at each game stop for the teams to arrive. When these hoochies land one of them what makes them think he's not going to wait for the next stop of groupies when he's with her?
We all know the groupies waiting for the bus to roll in have no self esteem, don't love themselves and only want to a) get pregnant so they can live off the money with $35,000/month in support payments or 2) actually rein him in and get married to live off of his money.
By now, I hope the leagues have warned these men that if they see groupies waiting for the bus to roll in to run, not walk, into the civic center and don't look back.
I don't know about in the baseball world but in the NBA and NFL they actually have mandatory classes (I guess you can call it that) where they show videos and have discussions about groupies and how they players need to protect themselves...they usually do this for the newbies.
I'm sure by the time they've been in the league awhile all the info and warnings they received is ignored.

It's funny how all these comments about Kate being needy and how Kate sleeps around really have nothing to do with the subject at hand. Second of all, how do any of us know what goes on in her head, her heart or her bedroom? Just because much of her life plays out in public doesn't mean we know all there is to know. And to the idiots who talk about the size of her breasts... You all are just stupid. Instead, we should be applauding her for not embracing Holly-weird thinking by accepting the notion that bust size equals work, or sexy, or marketable actress. There are plenty of actresses and celebrities who've been considered marketable, sexy and desirable without 44DD "fun bags". (I won't even dignify them by calling them boobs.) We all talk about freedom of expression (free to be you and me), and yet when someone does just that, we all ask why they aren't more like us? Or... Why aren't they more like they're supposed to be? What does that mean actually? By all accounts, Kate Russell grew up in a loving and open household where not everything was taboo. (This is public knowledge.) So why in Heaven's name should she all of a sudden find another manner of expression because "some" Yankee "WaG's" don't approve? Come on folks... Get a grip!

It's called having self respect especially when one becomes a mother. Or does motherhood have no meaning anymore, once a woman has it child it's not about her wants only, but the example she sets for her child and family. That's what you're missing here. We have several generations of people who are more concerned about themselves and their wants over what's best for their children. When people have a child their lifestyle usually changes for the better, even if she chose to continue her loose lifestyle she should have the dignity and self respect to keep it out of the media. She does have an impressionable son who watches his mother and learns from her example.
Yep and that's how kids end up with multiple step-daddies and a rotation of mom's boyfriends.
Begging your pardon, but I'm not missing anything. What I'm saying is that all the personal attacks on Kate Hudson have nothing to do with her being harassed by the other player's significant other. Likewise, I stand by the idea that none of us really knows what goes on in her life that would justify the scorn. She's obviously enough of a parent that no one has seen fit to call that into question... and I say this in spite of you mentioning her impressionable son. What about Kate Gosselin's children? How about Cher's? Jack Nicholson's? Courtney Love? Might they also be impressionable and learning from Mom's example? There are a lot worse examples than Kate Hudson out there, but you don't see anyone dumping this hard on them.
Hmmm. I don't believe the media can necessarily be controlled. And that which is printed is not necessarily true. I've heard many celebrities say as much. Now I haven't come across anything that would be a big deal here with respect to Kate and her behavior anyway. So why are you calling the example she sets for her children into question? Please enlighten me.
I suspect her son is learning about kindness, passion, humor, grace under pressure, -- all kinds of excellent lessons set by his mother's example according to her values. Your moral values may be different. Why do you feel free to assume they're "better" than the values of someone you've never met?
Do you teach your children to judge people they've never met based on the rumors they've heard about them? Think that's something we should all aspire to?
I guess haven't read a thing about the things A-Rod's ex-wife had to say? Kate is asking for trouble.

To me Kate appears to be a desperate, needy young woman. She gets into these relationships and quickly wants to marry or get serious. What happened to her own marriage? She needs to assess that. Look at her and Lance Armstrong. That was over in no time. Was he feeling smothered?
What mature woman would even want to get serious with A-Rod right now after leaving behind two young kids and a devoted wife. Look at the hell he put his wife thru for years! When a man is getting serious with other women yet has two toddlers to carry around, something is seriously wrong with his character.
What he did to his wife for years--all the cheating, he will also do to Kate. Nothing changes a leopard's spots just because he's telling you another story. I believe Madonna toyed with him for a while then thru him to the curb.
