John Forehand: Man 'Asked Teen Daughter For Sex On Facebook' (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

A Pennsylvania father has been arrested for allegedly asking his teen daughter for sex over Facebook.

John Forehand, 39, (see picture below) referred to himself as "Bad Daddy" in the online correspondence with his 13 year-old daughter, in which he openly propositioned her and made explicit sexual suggestions, say investigators.

Lancaster Online reports that, according to the affidavit, Forehand told his daughter he had been having "inappropriate" dreams about her, and wrote to her, "I'll take very good care of my little girl."

Fox News reports:

According to the criminal complaint, Forehand proposed meeting the girl for sex and explained in graphic detail the sex acts, telling her "not many other fathers and daughters are this brave, so not many of them are so lucky to experience all these pleasures."

Pennsylvania Attorney General Tom Corbett said the girl told her mother about the inappropriate Facebook messages, and she then alerted the police.

The police captured Forehand by tricking him into coming to what he believed would be a meeting with his daughter.

Fox News writes,

The state Child Predator Unit and Ephrata Police arrested Forehand when he arrived at a predetermined meeting location on October 7. Agents seized a camera, tripod and an unopened box of condoms from Forehand's vehicle, along with a digital camera, camcorder, computers and data-storage devices from his home.

Attorney General Corbett said in a press conference, "Predators know that colder weather and shorter days mean that kids are spending more time inside, in front of their computers, and that many may be home alone - either before or after school."

Forehand is being held on $400,000 bail.

Forehand was one of two Lancaster, PA men arrested for soliciting sex from underage girls online. The second man arrested for allegedly soliciting sex over the internet was Timothy Donnell Anderson, 42.
Lancaster Online says he "was arrested after agents said he arranged to meet a girl for sex, after finding her telephone number on MySpace and asking her to be his "secret girlfriend.""

Porn and incest are NOT linked. Nor is porn and lack of cultural value. Porn does NOT promote incest and that's a pretty huge statement. If you want to tell me that pornograph­y promotes having a girlfriend who wears stripper shoes, has beached blonde hair, shaved privates and huge fake breasts... then I might buy that. But I certainly won't buy the argument that porn makes incest. It's just not true. There was no internet porn in the 70s when Fritzl kidnapped and started abusing his daughter.

Incest has been a crime that humans have committed for centuries.­.. it has nothing to do with the Net or with porn. These sickos will offend regardless - the net has just given them another medium to do it. On the other side of that, the net has made it easier at times to get these horrible pedophiles­.

These guys need to be castrated.­.......the­re is no cure for pedophiles­. There is something so sick and obscene about grown men having sex with children that it defies logic. Incest is a horrible thing, because in most cases the children are trapped in a home with the relative that is abusing them. When is the world going to stop the predictors of children once and for all by creating laws that will not let these people live in a free society again after they are caught. I know what you mean -- parents and children should speak face to face. But please understand that I had a visceral reaction to your comment. I'm sure we all agree that Facebook provided the HAPPIEST piece of evidence in the case, letting the daughter document this pervert's crime and provide it to police. We can only praise the mother for helping the daughter work with the cops.

I also had a crush on my 5th grade teacher (a man), but I was still a naive little kid. If he had given me the sort of attention that I dreamed about, I would have needed years of therapy. I can't imagine it's much different for boys.

While what is going on in those stories of adult women and teenage boys is definitely socially INAPPROPRI­ATE, please don't call it r.ape. It was consensual sex. Big Difference­.
Only our archaic "laws" regarding age of consent makes it a "big deal".
I can guarantee you it's not that big a deal to the minors.

And frankly a 15 / 16 / 17 yr old boy should have control over his own genitals by then, and so should a girl -- unless there is some question of mental capacity of the minor. They ARE old enough to consent, even if no one wants to believe that....
