At the end of August, Virgin Mobile presented the FreeFest, a free music festival dedicated to encouraging young people to devote time to public service, and to raise money to prevent youth homelessness. Additionally, a few ambitious volunteers were given a free plane ride out to Columbia, Maryland, to see the show in reward for their service.
Causecast was there as well, in association with The Voluntour, to talk to Sir Richard Branson and some of the contest winners about the cause and how volunteering has improved their lives.
