Jaycee Dugard: Who Should Play Her In A Movie?

First Posted: 03/18/10 06:12 AM ET   Updated: 05/25/11 03:20 PM ET

Recovered kidnapee Jaycee Dugard is back with her family and on the new cover of People magazine.

Her story, reunited with her family after 18 years of captivity and two children, will surely be turned into a movie at some point. But who should play her?

If you have suggestions, add them! Leave suggestions in the comments and we'll add the best into the slideshow.

That people magazine cover does look a lot like a young Jodie Foster.

Although not part of theabove choices, I say Robin Wright ...she gets my vote

This poll is so sick I'm laughing. But really, if you're gonna make an adult film, hire an experienced professional! Liz Honey would be my choice.

Jodie Foster, (A) she's a great actress and looks a lot like Jaycee, and (B) her high price virtually GUARANTEES that some sleazy porn company doesn't get to do it.

So wait, everyone is upset that there's a poll about a legitimate movie about Jaycee Duggard- I would have thought there should be fire and brimstone about the fact that a porno is being made about her,

This sick society is always quick to exploit tragedy, especially if it involves something lurid. We've become nothing more than a bunch of soulless psychic vampires.

"We"? Speak for yourself, please.

And "psychic vampires"? Really? Are you high?

This is probably the worst article/poll I've seen here in awhile. It's exploitative and needless. HP, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

After the book and the movie, it’s, JAYCEE! the Musical. Featuring the hit songs, Backyard Bride and I’m so Happy I’m Back.

And later, the director's cut DVD release....disgusting across the board.

I'm going to let the fine folks at HPo in on a little secret. Movies about the abduction, brainwashing, moles tation, and rap e of a child do not make good movies....and they *definitely* don't make good polls. This comment will probably be scrubbed, but I want to go on the record as saying that I can't stand the direction HPo has taken recently. You're edging ever closer to National Enquirer territory or, worse, FOX territory. This isn't a story that lends itself to trivialization.

I really hope you're kidding.

irony, Lily. the choices were ridiculous
09:53 AM on 10/15/2009
She's actually not bad looking herself, and I think any of the actresses above could probably play her convincingly (except maybe Jodie Foster, too old for this role).
08:59 AM on 10/15/2009
Seriously? There should NOT be a movie.

Absolutely right! And while she may write a book (her family probably needs the cash), I would hope she doesn't even do publicity for that. There will be plenty of people who will buy a book about her ordeal without her having to go on any talk shows, the news, etc. The idea of this woman being asked for the lurid details of her life for the last 18 years is beyond horrendous. Larry King, 20/20, Oprah, etc., please leave this woman alone.
