What's Your Reaction?
Kristen Stewart

Kristen Stewart graces the November cover of Allure and inside talks about her body image, evolving sense of style and shooting 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' (opening November 20). Here are some highlights:

On her carefully disheveled appearance:
"I go outside, and I'm wearing a funky T-shirt and my hair is dirty, and people say, 'What's wrong with her? She needs to invest in a hairbrush.' I'm like, don't you get it? I'm not that girl! It's not like I was really clean cut last year."

On her weight worries:
"I don't exercise. I'm skinny fat. I worry about being too skinny. You should see my brother, he's, like, emaciated. We both just happen to be really skinny."

On the shots of her kissing Robert Pattinson in 'New Moon':
"This shot got everyone talking like I have some sort of great ass. But come on, I have a flat ass. I don't know what people are talking about."

You can see Kristen's vampy photo shoot here.
The issue hits newsstands October 20.

I agree with the posters who say she should be more worried about her acting. It is terrible. If I had to listen to her stammer through one more line, I was going to lose it. Bella, as a character may be unsure of herself, but nowhere is it mentioned that she has a stutter. SPIT IT OUT!!!

I might believe her if she didn't always appear anemic and over tired.

Then eat! I've never seen a single person who couldn't cure being too thin with booze and Haagen-Daz.

Yes, people. There are folks out there who are naturally "skinny". It doesn't always mean that they are anorexic or on drugs. In a country where women get breast implants, b u t t injections, and things to become more curvy, there are also women like Stewart. I am one of them. I have never been pleased to be so thin but there isn't anything I can do about it. I eat right. I don't do drugs. I am surrounded by beautiful women with curves and I always wished I'd been born with them as well. Women come in all shapes and sizes. When will our society understand that? Women can be so catty towards thin girls. It's not cool. We should support one another, not add to the problem.

So true...I'm naturally skinny as well and it's really unbeleivable how badly other girls treat thin girls. It's pure jealously, plain and simple, but they have no idea that thin girls are often wishing they had curves!

And I hate when people think all skinny people need to do is eat more and that will fix the problem.....I ate fatty foods for years, hoping I would gain weight. All I ended up with was high cholesterol and gallstones, had to have my gallbladder removed my diet was so poor. Did I gain an ounce? Nope.

I understand totally. It was not so different when I was a teenager. I had several thin friends who really wanted to put on some curves but just couldn't. As they aged, they filled out some. So there is hope.

i hear you. i am naturally curvy but my husband is painfully thin and has always been very self-conscious about it. my family assumes i don't feed him, but he eats more than i could ever dream of. sometimes there is no denying your genetics.

All these women and girls who whine how they hate to be skinny are so inauthentic. I mean Jessica Simpson says that, I believe her.

I disagree with you. When I was her age, I was also too skinny and insecure about it. I had no figure and I was jealous of the girls who had curves. I still am, actually.

Brigitta...you obviously did NOT grow up being teased with things like "chicken legs"... I too am naturally thin (yup...and the envy of heavier friends...)...I am 5'8"...and really like my body at 120-123 pounds (I'm also small boned)...I come from Slavic background..dad...skinny as a reed...my sister got my mother's genes..and they both fight to lose 20 or so pounds...BUT...my natual thinness really hurt me when I got cancer..I had NO excess "fat" to lose..and after chemo and radiation...got down to a very scary 98 lbs...and sorry HATED it...aged me a LOT...I've fought to get to my current 109 and have over 10 pounds to go....I am not anorexic (well..medically I am..but it is unintentional). With ANY illness (okay..diabetes obvious exception)...some extra pounds will serve you well... guess what I'm saying is you have NOT walked in my shoes....and I LOVE Kristen's (have no idea who she is...doesn't matter) honesty about a flat butt!..mine could pass for a young boys...and I hate it... but kudos to Kristen!...for honesty!

Inauthentic? Try being skinny your whole life and then tell me it's inauthentic to complain about it. We get just as much cr@p for being skinny as fat people do for being fat! I've had complete strangers on the street tell me to go eat a sandwich.....do I say things to fat people, like, "maybe you should stop gorging yourself on burgers and ice cream"? NO cause it's rude.

Some women are naturally sknny and don't like it, especially when we're told by society that being a "real" woman means having curves!

that's unfair. there are skinny people who try really hard to put on weight. as hard as it is to believe, its the truth. just as there are people who look heavier than the "ideal," there are people who look lighter, and it can be just as painful for them.

She's worried about being too skinny? She needs to be worried aobut how she'll make a living once casting directors figure out that she has no acting talent. Add Megan Fox to that list as well.

So much snark against this young lady. I despised Twilight and miss the 2 hours of my life when I had to sit in the movie theatre watching that wretched movie with my niece. But c'mon attacking her for saying that she has body issues? That she feels she doesn't conform to media fueled and unrealistic expectations? Please.

***I despised Twilight and miss the 2 hours of my life when I had to sit in the movie theatre watching that wretched movie with my niece. ***

Surely the important thing is that you spent a couple of hours with your niece, rather than whining about the movie you watched?

Here's an idea, take 2 hours and go to a VA hospital and give some fine people some of your time, you'll be surprised how fast the time goes by!

I've said it before, and I guess I have to say it again:

Either a person has an eating disorder, or they don't. It's binary and logical; there is no other choice. So, either this girl has an eating disorder, or she doesn't. An eating disorder is a mental illness, like depression, bipolar, etc.

If she has no eating disorder, then everyone calling her sickly, anorexic, etc is wrong.
If she has an eating disorder, then everyone calling her a b!t ch and arrogant and ugly is like calling someone baldy during chemotherapy.

Either way, it's wrong.

Dude, please stay away from women and children.
You have some pretty scary anger issues that may need professional attention.

Take a look around you..when a teenage girl is rail thin in hollywood it is rarely natural. And many young girls who watch these young movie stars want to be as rail thin as their teen idols. And when they see their bodies are taking on too many curves ...these young female fans start with the excessive dieting, then it escalates to eatting disorders....so its not bitterness..its seeing the effects of how young girls in my neighborhood, and school...are dropping weight and looking sickly...its not the result of being naturally thin.
