Looks like they might get their kids taken away. Is that enough "reality" for ya'!

OK, that settles it in my mind. This is a hoax. Make them pay for all the emergency services that were used.

Of course it was a hoax. Dad wanted publicity for his balloon.

They might think about making their show about prison life! Glad they've outed these fakes!! They had all of us scared to death for this child! What a couple of wackos!! Make them pay for all the resources that were used in this thing!!

family shows are out! plus now you guys will have to pay for the people's wheatfield, and the cost of emergency services.

you might have caused someone's death because the emergency services were tied up doing other things.

if anything you should get sued and fined. if you don't than you should just be happy that you weren't.

as far as a reality show! come on!!! we've already had a family tv show with mixed kids! look how well that turned out.

here's my plan for you guys. go to pta meetings. teach your kids the difference between right and wrong. go to a place of worship. go to the movies. go to a park. get the kids into sports. lead a relatively normal life. if not you're just a pimp, pimpin' out your kids for $$$.

it's classless, tactless, and in this recession, this phenomenon is probably going away! as more people demand more real answers for real issues.

thanks for the sideshow though will robinson.

If there's no sex with a nanny, rich ghetto chicks battling it out, singing or dancing, or any competitive edge, it's not much of a reality show.

Say, maybe if waste the Air Force's time and millions of dollars in tax payer money I'll get my own show too! What a great idea!

They don't need a reality show. They need therapy.

Please, Child Protective Services, do your thing.

Why am I not surprised. That's what the hoax was about ... getting a show. He needs a REAL job.
06:47 PM on 10/17/2009
No. No way. No how. Uh-uh. Never.

TV execs, please stop exploiting deranged people for fun and profit. Something is very wrong in the Heene household.

There isn't even a BASKET attached to that balloon. Where would the kid have been? He couldn't have been inside the balloon with the helium. If the balloon was open enough for someone to get inside, the helium would not have stayed inside.
01:20 AM on 10/18/2009
The part at the bottom is not helium filled. It is an access area to the valves to go in and fill the balloon. I don't know if the balloon would have gone up with the kid in the bottom area, but there is a space where a person will fit.

Thanks. From the bits I saw, I wasn't able to tell how the bottom was formed.

Goofy, expensive stunt.
