I got an offer to sign on with them about a month ago.

The pay was amazing. The benefits were spectacular. The job would have been challenging and rewarding. Heck, I even rather like the thought of living in the Bay area again.

That being said, I turned it down flat. I'm not gonna go down with a sinking ship, and I don't want an albatross like that on my CV.

The moment I read certain preemptively-trite buzzwords, I lose interest.

In the case of this article, it's "top talent".
