GOP, Democratic Senators Agree: Get Swine Flu Vaccination

Right-wing pundits like Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh have recently spoken out against government direction on the H1N1 vaccine, saying that individuals should make up their own minds whether to get vaccinated or not. Some left-wing pundits, such as Bill Maher, have made similar statements.

In the Senate, the topic has accomplished the rare feat of uniting Democrats and Republicans -- members of both parties are promoting vaccinations regardless of the rhetoric.

It is good to see that there are some smart people out there who know what the vaccines are made of and what devastation (not always immediately, many effects are long-term, and many don't show up right away, like cancer and a multitude of auto-immune diseases) is visited upon the people and animals injected with them. AS ALWAYS, the thinkers are in the minority - The ones who are calling Bill Maher names for speaking out against the H1N1 vaccine are repeating what they have been taught by vested interests or what they have been told. If they did any INDEPENDENT research, or even just looked up what vaccine ingredients do to the body, they would have to face the truth - John H. TIlden, MD, who wrote "Toxemia Explained" also wrote (referring to people who vehemently defend vaccination without knowing anything about it) : "Those who have their thinking done for them are always intolerant."

The nasal vaccine is just now being administered. I don't think it is any coincidence that the flu is now all over our county. I have not read the insert but it is purported to say "contains live flu virus, avoid contact with anyone with compromised immune system, may be contagious for 21 days". That is freakin scary.
The german govt and military is being given a "special" vaccine, one that doesn't include thermosil, alum, and what else! There are many docs who fear the H1N1 vaccine.
Oh, Pharma is immune from any and all claims for damages, courtesy of our govt.

Natural Remedies advice from a nurse
How to avoid getting the flu.

The only portals of entry are the nostrils and mouth/throat. In a global epidemic of this nature, it's almost impossible to avoid coming into contact with H1N1 in spite of all precautions. Contact with H1N1 is not so much of a problem as proliferation is.

While you are still healthy and not showing any symptoms of H1N1 infection, in order to prevent proliferation, aggravation of symptoms and development of secondary infections, some very simple steps, not fully highlighted in most official communications, can be practiced (instead of focusing on how to stock N95 or Tamiflu):

1. Frequent hand-washing (well highlighted in all official communications) .

2. "Hands-off-the- face" approach. Resist all temptations to touch any part of face (unless you want to eat, bathe or slap).

3. *Gargle twice a day with warm salt water (use Listerine if you don't trust salt). *H1N1 takes 2-3 days after initial infection in the throat/ nasal cavity to proliferate and show characteristic symptoms. Simple gargling prevents
proliferation. In a way, gargling with salt water has the same effect on a healthy individual that Tamiflu has on an infected one. Don't underestimate this simple,
inexpensive and powerful preventative method.

4. Similar to 3 above, *clean your nostrils at least once every day with warm salt water. *Not everybody may be good at Jala Neti or Sutra Neti (very good Yoga asanas to clean nasal cavities), but *blowing the nose hard once a day and swabbing both nostrils with cotton buds dipped in warm salt water is very effective in bringing down viral population.*

5. *Boost your natural immunity with foods that are rich in Vitamin C (Amla and other citrus fruits). *If you have to supplement with Vitamin C tablets, make sure that it also has Zinc to boost absorption.

6. *Drink as much of warm liquids (tea, coffee, etc) as you can. *Drinking warm liquids has the same effect as gargling, but in the reverse direction. They wash off
proliferating viruses from the throat into the stomach where they cannot survive, proliferate or do any harm.

I suggest you pass this on to your entire e-list. You never know 20 who might pay attention to it - and STAY ALIVE because of it.

"Much lethality"

Of course that depends on how you define lethality. Approximately 1/2% to 1% doesn't appear to be much, unless you or someone you know is in that small percentage. Out of 100,000 cases that is 500 to 1000 people. There have already been about 100 who have died in the US alone, and many more have been hospitalized. That is not trivial.

There has been some hysteria in the media, the desire to overplay the risk for the purpose of dramatic news stories. However, that does not remove the fact that 2009 H1N1 is at least as lethal as the seasonal flu, and more so among healthy young individuals. That makes it a public health concern that needs to be addressed..

The video on that had graphical references to the illuminati, so.... yeah. That kind of says a lot right there. Anyways. One major problem is that you keep posting youtube videos without any reference so there is no way to judge the validity, it's basically no better than referencing a playground conversation. If you want to argue your case, which I doubt is possible to do rationally, then use peer reviewed scientific journals and articles. Science. On an ideological level, how can you argue this extremely skewed constitutional view against public safety? The science clearly shows that vaccines save lives. There is no secret plot to kill people through the H1N1 vaccine. The method for production is a reliable one. The benefits far outweigh the very slim risks . Sure, it's a choice, but quite frankly, I'm tired of people who don't understand the science of vaccines trying to spread fear while they are putting many, many people at risk. and probably for some skewed ideology at that.

If you'd watch them you'd see the references are always legit.

Most are from major news networks with solid backing so you're wrong about credibility, right there.

Others have reputable doctor's & credible individuals with incredible fact & information that can't be denied by thinking people paying attention.

I know you on the other side of this atrocity of this issue don't like videos, maybe because you can't find any to back up your rhetoric, as no one would wants their name on bogus information that can be disseminated & picked apart as easily as that would be.

Try telling that to the many & growing number of parents coming forward out of frustration & desperation & raising their voices to high heaven, won't you.

Not everyone who is concerned about the safety of the vaccine is a rightwinger, nor are they antivax.
We all have the freedom of choice so far concerning the vaccine and the ability to research and make the decision.
This not a political issue since it crosses party lines with nearly half of the adults polled refusing the vaccine.
I respect people's decision on this matter whether they choose to be vaccinated or not.
The level of anger directed at those of us who will not be vaccinated makes me wonder if there is an underlying fear in those choosing the vaccine.

I just recommended this thread to Richard Dawkins, because in here we can indeed watch evolution happening in real time. A very successful species as a whole, one part of its population is about to abandon the very property which led to the rise of the species - rational thinking. Don't want to foreclose how this will play out - but I keep thinking "dodo".

Maybe sad from an individual point of view, but overall without doubt a great step for mankind.
