The Hill:

House GOP leaders are too interested in playing "political games" to score attention, one Republican congressman said this weekend.

Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Calif.) took shots at his own party's leaders in the House currently, and blasted fellow Republicans for having failed to have reform healthcare during the first six years of the Bush administration, when Republicans held Congress and the White House.

What does he have to hide? This is all smoke to cover up something he doesn't want the public to know.

Well Mr. Rohrbacher, put your money where your mouth is and openly support the House bill on healthcare reform with a public option. Or maybe you'e simply looking to grab some headline attention for the week!

As soon as Beck cries about this or Limbaugh makes some repulsive comment about it, he'll walk it back.
Or maybe i can hope that there are some smart people on the dark side who want to see the light. they want to have civil conversation to solve the huge problems our country is facing. that would be a nice change of pace.

They will turn on him, if he does not believe in the tea party meltdown movement, birther crybaby movement, or the doomsday death panel movement. You either comply to the madness or get voted out!

I thought His comment about the bush years when the repugs owned both house and senate, they sat around and didn't reform health care seems telling. He says the repugs care more about the big monied interests and not about the average american.

You would think that the way the 46th District is carved from surrounding communities from to create a safe Republican district that Rohrabacher would have no trouble holding it but I guess not.

"Only 20 percent of respondents identified themselves as Republicans -- the lowest number since the paper starting asking the question in 1983." Washington Post Study 10/20/09
He is right about his party and so are the American people.

So republicans grasp the obvious a few months behind everyone else. And why should we elect them again?

The tipping point was Republican Senators voting to condone gang-rape on the part of military contractors.

Distance yourself cause you think it will save you at election time? The American people are paying attention. Those Democrats and Republicans who don't vote for Public Option. Better dust off the old resume.

After eight years of having their heads firmly entenched in their derr!eres spelunking for scat, I'm am now supposed to trust what they say? Sorry Rohrabacher, too late and still way too little poltical compromise. You were part of the problem, I'll listen to the person who will replace you, Republican or Democrat.
