Donny Deutsch Apologizes To Mika Brzezinski With Shoes (VIDEO)

Donny Deutsch apologized to Mika Brzezinski on "Morning Joe" Monday by giving her a pair of Christian Louboutin heels.

"Every time in my life I've been in trouble with women," Donny said, "I bring shoes."

Before he mentioned shoes, Mika worried that he might have a vibrator in the box, muttering, "This better not be what Sherri Shepherd wanted me to have."

"I can't take it," Donny said. "I get thousands of letters, 'Stop fighting with Mika,' 'You're a jerk, Donny.'"

In April, Mika shared her footwear for a week with the Huffington Post. See that slideshow here. The following month, Peggy Noonan called her shoes "a X-rated fantasy."

this just goes to show any woman melts with a good expensive pair of shoes, I dont care who you are...ever­y single woman, even those "I dont care about fashion" ladies still fall apart if they are given 800 dollar shoes....w­oman like shoes, the ones who say they dont either have more shoes than god, or they are too poor to afford any good expensive pairs of shoes...

I learned a long time ago that the fastest way to figure out a woman is to go shoe shopping..­.first they will be thrilled, then you will likely be a dozen stores while she is trying on everything she sees, by the time she finds something she wants (and she will within 5 minutes) you will be out an average of 150 dollars, that if you didnt take her to nordstrom or saks....yo­u might get lucky and find a girl who would rather have 10 pairs for 150, but it will always be atleast 150 dollars, no matter what.

According to you and him, he would indeed open the box since he's done this before and clerks always leave the receipt there. But instead of admiring them, he would pull the receipt before presenting the gift (just like folks like you and I remove the price tag on gifts before giving them)

Odd how Mika seems so disliked. She is far more intelligent and personable than other anchors, and does not dramatically act out the news like many unwatchable hosts on CNN. She is no Christine Amanpour (so?), but then who is?

Her love of shoes is sort of a running gag and really quite harmless. After all, this is not "Meet the Press."
