SLOTUS Jill Biden stopped by the Alvin Ailey Dance Theater in New York on Monday, showing off some well-toned gams in one of her signature short dresses. The dress and coat were by Milly.

While there she watched dancers rehearse with Judith Jamison, the Artistic Director of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, and and Denise Jefferson, Director of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater School. See below.

No matter your age some things are in good taste and some are not. If you are going to wear a very short skirt you must be mindful about how you sit. Don't expect the photographers to give you a break.

I don't know her first hand, but I've heard from good sources that this woman was -- I guess until she followed her husband to Washington DC -- a great teacher in a public school in CT, where she just kept doing her work in the most down-to-earth and unassuming way. I like that in a human being. And her being superb looking doesn't subtract a thing. On the contrary. :-)

She teaches in a community college and I read that she loves working with returning students because they have life experience and are motivated. I'd love to take her class!
