Adam Lambert is on the cover of Details, and inside he impersonates a heterosexual in an awkward photo shoot.

He also talks about coming out, losing his virginity and having an acid-fueled epiphany at the Burning Man Festival. Here are some highlights:

On kissing women:

"I am gay, but I like kissing women sometimes. Women are pretty. It doesn't mean I'm necessarily sleeping with them."

On his "Cajun" 24-year-old mystery boyfriend:

"I like 'em smaller and younger."

On connecting with his fans:

"A lot of times I'll pick up a bra and play with it during a song. It's a way to connect. It's like, 'I threw my bra up onstage and you're spinning it around. Cool. Yay.'"

Aw, c'mon everyone.......has anyone posting the comments about "why is a gay man posing with a naked woman" actually READ the Detail article? Because if you had, you would realize that the photos simply tie in with the story, which outlines Adam's hetersexual appeal to his female fans. It's acting folks, Adam has very openly stated he is gay, and I would dare to say that if he WAS bisexual, he would have no trouble admitting it.
The man is sexy.......period. Why does sex appeal have to be labelled?? And on top of that, the best singer to be discovered in ages.

Why is it that when a man comes out as gay people have to put him in a situation where he is with a Women? Someone said Adam doesn't "act gay". This is so stereotypical of what people think a gay man is. People...some of the most butch, macho men I know are gay and some of the most tender,sweet articulate men I know are straight.

That is what is frustrating me the most.. that there is this thought that once you identify yourself as Homosexual.. you must then 'Act' a certain way or your sexuality and personal integrity will be called in to question.. No one gives Neil Patrick Harris this kind of grief and he plays a straight male on the TeeVee every week..

I guess it means I'm a closed-minded homosexual because I expect a man who comes out as gay to express only sexual interest in men, not women. Look, pretty much everybody at this point realizes that Adam is way more bisexual than he's been willing to admit. I would have absolutely NO problem whatsoever if he admitted to being bi. In fact, it would make a lot more sense to me if he did because then his words would actually be consistent with his actions. He may not be having intercourse with women (yet), but his attraction to them is way more than just platonic.

And again, Neil Patrick Harris is an ACTOR playing a ROLE. Adam is being himself here, and you know that. Once and for all, stop making the ridiculous comparison between what he's done in this photo shoot and what actors do on stage or on screen. They are two completely different things. Does the article say, "Here we have Adam Lambert playing the role of..."?

And tell me this: Why does a man who goes out of his way to change certain lyrics in the songs he sings so they are more gender neutral (example: singing "baby" instead of "woman" in "Whole Lotta Love") then do a photo shoot that is not only very heterosexual but also brazenly sexually explicit?

i just don't get it, i thought adam was gay. he sure doesn't act like a gay man, eventhough those are just pictures. i would have liked to see him more with men then wih women, eventhough, every woman wishes that was her. why is he taking pictures with women, i just don't get it, he's suppose to want to express his sexuality with men, not suppress it. i mean if i was gay, i would want people to know and express it in every way possible. but with adam, that doesn't seem the case.

whoa, a little too explicit for my taste. i don't think you could have been any more detailed then, then you are here. a little bit too x-rated for my taste with the exception of adam not being naked, otherwise this would have been a porn film in the making. i think i'm just a little bit jealous it wasn't me in the pictures with adam, otherwise very sexy and provocative pictures. i'm still wondering why, why not a man, instead a woman? can you tell me why he went for a woman instead of a man in the pictures, if men are is sexual preference?

It is bigoted to insist that Gay people should be Visibly Gay at All Times.. and easily identifiable as a Homosexual. Maybe they should wear a ribbon or something in case you see them doing something 'straight' and you get all confused.
