Cute/Ridiculous Animal Thing Of The Day: Ferret Plays Guitar (VIDEO)

The people at I Can Has Cheezburger are consistently finding the funniest and furriest little guys for their videos, and this ferret is no exception. It first looks like he's trying to play a few chords, but he eventually finds a better way to use this guitar. Alas, it is no match for the undeniable appeal of a piece of turkey.

I love ferrets! They look like living sock puppets! Wish they were legal in CA.

Sssh! The California government will hear you! It is said that hundreds of thousands of people own ferrets in CA. When I was living in CA I had three of them.

Since leaving CA, only one of the remaining three is still alive - one died of an intestinal problem and one died of cancer. The last one of the original three is dying of cancer as well. He is such a sweetie too, and it breaks my heart to see my little Pepper like that. He is not in pain - we took him to the vet and discovered he has multiple tumors on his spleen. They can't operate or it will kill him. Since he is in no pain the vet suggested to let him die naturally, because he is still eating/drinking normally, etc. He still likes to run around even though the added weight from the tumors makes it hard for him. My other two ferrets, Snowball and Cocoa are still healthy. Pepper is eight years old - he has outlived the normal life span of a ferret.
