Salman Rushdie has hit back at his ex-girlfriend, Pia Glenn, blasting her as a "large, radioactive bucket of stress."
The acclaimed author was infuriated after the statuesque "Spamalot" star -- who dated him for nearly six months before he dumped her by e-mail in June -- told Page Six he was "dysfunctional" and still pining for his ex-wife, Padma Lakshmi.

You never see rich, unattractive, dowdy women with tall, hot men who look like models. Life is so unfair.

there are a few I know personally, and lots in the public eye .. some actresses, writers, directors. I've never seen one with a hot, young, male model.
She's young(er) and immature so her spewing is par for the course...what's his excuse? He's a man of the world but clearly not a gentleman. Unpleasant fellow.

It seemed just minutes ago they were in love. They looked odd together, but cupid can do some miraculous things.
Why did he call her unemployed? Wasn't she employed and performing when he met her? Actors, entertainers, whatever, when they have performances they work. When the performances are over they are unemployed. What is new about that? If she is not in a production currently, she hardly needs him to point it out for her.
Hope she recovers soon. No one needs to have their emotions wound up in this sort of distraction. She has to be free to entertain us.

A four-time married man (with girlfriends in between) certainly should have enough experience with break-ups to do it right, dontcha think?
One would hope, but that doesn't mean it stops hurting each new time. Otherwise none of us would try again!
