Wet N' Wild

Obama spent part of Tuesday, October 28, 2008 outside in the rain in Chester, PA, while John McCain postponed his outside rally in nearby Quakertown. Dressed in sneakers and jeans, the rain pouring down as he spoke, Obama addressed the 9,000 who turned out. ""Let me just begin by saying that a little bit of rain never hurt anybody."

The first picture (Wet & Wild) states that McCain canceled his nearby event.

If this didn't point out the differences in age & stamina, I don't know what would.

The "Wet and Wild" picture is one I will never forget, one can still feel the electricity in the air and a sense that something historic was about to take place. The picture with the president walking casually in his neighbourhood is very poignant and even just watching him, there was a realization that life as he knew it was never goping to be the same agian. A day like that will not come agian and that must have flashed through his mind. Thanks Huffpost for taking us back on this journey.

Cindy McCain first lady. One of the grossest ideas I can imagine. The whole picture of the two families presented by the Republicans, just unfathomable, and after Bush!??!?! I really would have moved or would be in the process, if we were allowed to leave the country. I knew many people who were serious about it, I certainly was. I was getting really stressed over bush, PTSD, I think a lot of us got.

John McCain never had a chance. I LOVE these slideshows. I never dreamed I'd support a politician this way. Yes We Can!

i agree. whenever i have a lot of work to do and i see an Obama-related photo slideshow, i tell myself "girl, don't look at the photos, b/c it will only lead to more photos and reminiscing about the election and then i'll never get any work done!" but i always look....

Oh yes let us revisit and revitalize his glory ness in all his glory, a man equal in all manner and comparable to MLK Jr , JFK, Mandala, Abraham Lincoln, and a walking Messiah as told by Lois the Farrakhan, oh yes let us get down on our knees for his uplifting words and promises will forever change our lives in so many ways. The light that emanates from his very presence and sparkling smile will blind us all with heavenly faith in a truth that goes beyond any of his lies and broken promises, as his hope springs eternal in our vacuous hearts. The perfect puppet for our times has arrived to a tear drenched public, lights, camera, action, cut.

Why would we get down on our knees?

The 2008 election presented a clear choice of hope vs. fear. Eight years of Bush/Cheny with their constant fear mongering was not only tiring but did not reflect our core values as a nation. I, like much of the rest of country, am just relieved not to be living in fake fear any longer. We are a hopeful nation. It has always been our signature. Obama reminded us of that. Take your fear, pov, and go away.

The Obama campaign was one of the best times I've ever had.

We knocked on doors and made phone calls, I donated money for the first time ever to a candidate.

The night of the election I was litterally ill when the first returns came in and didn't seem good for Obama. But when he won - wow what a moment!

I love this guy, he is exactly who I thought he would be and is doing exactly what he should for the country.
