Don Young Part Of FBI Investigation On Bribery Charges

An Alaska businessman admitted to giving gifts to Republican Rep. Don Young, the state's long-serving sole congressman, in a confession made public this week as part of an ongoing federal investigation into political corruption in the state.

The confession, signed in 2007 by Bill Allen, the former chief of Veco, an Alaska oil services company, was released as part of Allen's upcoming sentencing on charges that he bribed state lawmakers.

With the ruling that Rep. Young could use political donations for personal legal defense, I have always wondered who would contribute to a 're-election campaign' knowing their donation was going to lawyers.

This $Million was 'donated' before he was ever charged with anything. Somebody knew something. Now it's up to the courts. Hope they get this one right.

The Alaskan rewrite team for, "In the Jail House Now, #31", had to take references to Ted Stevens out because of the prosecutors keeping thigs from Ted & his lawyers. They shouldn't put Rep Young's name in with ink. Use a #4 pencil, don't press hard. What happened to, "In the Jail House Now, #25", the version that mentioned Rumsfeld, Cheney & W? Rewriting oldies is getting harder. Did any body do a version that mentioned Ms England & Scooter Libby? Did it have any air play?

We will continue to see republicans across the states go down. They are being exposed daily, because they don't have the power in government to cover it up anymore. I first prediicted 4 monthe ago that before 2010 their would be 6 to 8 republicans acroos the country to go down, but at the rate they are being exposed, by 20 10 there will be no more in office , no more in government across the states. Now we can truly understand what the obstructions from the GOP is really all about.
