'Housewife' Kim Zolciak's Wigs Cost $12,000 Per Month (VIDEO)

'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Kim Zolciak and Nene Leakes visited Jimmy Kimmel Thursday night. They didn't make up, but they had a friendly dispute about the origins of the 'Tardy for the Party' lyrics (Kim's 9-year-old daughter was only partially responsible) and talked about the cost of Kim's hair ($12,000 a month, but less now that she is starting a wig line).

Kimmel also asked Nene a question from his mother, who is a big fan of the show: did Nene's biological father surface just so he could be on television?

"I don't know that he's my biological father. He hasn't taken a DNA test," Nene said. "I just suspect that he is." Nene and Kimmel talked about doing a DNA test on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live.'

The 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' reunion show airs at 10 next Thursday on Bravo.

This is the worst of the HW shows. They are a voyeuristi­c pleasure because you think you're looking into other people's lives (NY HW) This show however is such a train wreck because non of these women has a smidge of common sense or intelligen­ce, and it becomes unwatchabl­e. They drink from morning until night and have nothing else in their lives but to bicker; a little like Big Brother. Scenarios ensue that would never happen if any of them actually had a life.

I reside in the Atlanta area, I'm African American and every day I pray that I don't run into any of the people on this show, as I would not want anyone I know to assume that I have anything to do with any of them. A friend asked me to watch the show with her because it's such a mesmerizin­g "dramady." The personalit­ies featured on the show - the 5 alleged "housewive­s," Dwight and all of his compadres - are the talk of the town and 99% of the conversati­ons focus on how much of an embarassme­nt these clowns are for all of us. Even my fifteen year old daughter and her friends are mortified by the thought that the rest of the nation sees these characters as a reflection on Black Atlanta. With all of the stories from the African American experience that are worth telling, the fact that the producers consider this to be the one everyone should see is telling. For many of us, this show's cancellati­on can't happen soon enough.

I often ask myself-why are you watching this ignorance? The answer-I just can't believe it-and so I have become addicted to astonishme­nt! How could this show even happen-in fact all of the Housewives from all of the cities are first cousins to all of the Bridezilla­s who Wife Swap and date Real and Chance!

Since Kim is a known pathologic­al liar, I really doubt her wigs cost $12,000 a month. After all, this is the same person said she lost her hair because she thought she had cancer. She probably only wears wig so that she can look like the Barbie doll she so idolizes.
