This guy has a big complex in Rome. Why can't he just stay there?

A bit of context to Archbishop Wabukala position - the issue with disaffected Anglicans affects mostly Anglicans in Western nations like the United States where there's a rift in the Anglican communities over gay clergy and similarly controversial issues. The Anglican Church in Africa is generally a lot more traditional and conservative and has not embraced those controversial changes. So in the mind of Anglicans there, there is no compelling need to switch over to the Catholic denomination. In fact, some Anglican churches in the United States are joining African-based Anglican archdioceses/communities, thus remaining Anglican but under a different congregration.

Anglicans, ask the Catholics to join you. Especially the hard working sisters in religious orders. They have some pretty property the Vatican is looking to steal from them in the United States and have real motivation to re-think the papist thing.

Looks like this attempt to increase the cash flow to the Pope's coffers failed. Time to encourage more breeding by the masses.

I read the other day that the Pope said that married Anglican clerics could become Catholics.
So, here's a question:
If some Catholic clerics can be married, why not let all Catholic clerics be married? I don't know what effect it will have on the Catholic power structure, but it seems to me the humane thing to do.

The requirement for priests to be celibate is a requirement tied mostly to the Roman rite of the Catholic Church and it in fact not a strict requirement in many other Catholic rites (which are still in communion with the Roman rite). Some rites allow married priest, but do not allow married bishops. The celibacy requirement was largely a product of an age where bishops in particular wielded a lot of influence and nepotism meant they'd pass on their office to their children/kin. The allowance for married Anglican cleric to become Catholic clergy is a bit of a head-scratcher considering that long-standing married members of the Catholic community are not afforded that option. On the other hand, the number of Anglican clerics switching is very low so it doesn't present as many issues as if married clergy were allowed on a larger scale.

Good. No one in their right mind should be joining the catholic church. We should be doing everything possible to limit their numbers - they are a scourge on the planet.

Pope Benny is called His Holiness. You used the title RC's use for Cardinals. As for King Henry VIII, his reasons for multiple marriages are of little interest to those of use who wish the C of E well. The C of E lives. Henry VIII is dead.

The Christian proselytizing, especially by Pentecostals, going on in Kenya right now is scandalous and outrageous.

As those in developed nations finally catch on to, and reject, the fraud of archaic religions, Christians flock to less developed nations, desperate to prey on vulnerable people to keep their shocking, unchallenged ponzi schemes alive.

Shameful.

I really hate to say it, but this Pope is spooky.

the look in his eyes... Like deep pools of emptyness. Almost predatory-like.

*shudders*

This is a prime example of the evolution deniers trying to evolve. Looks like this gambit isn't infallible.

. . . sneaky suspicion: the Pope is targeting Europeans with this one, anyway (and thus probably isn't overly concerned whether African Anglicans join the Catholic Church).
