Hilton, 28, is one of a string of celebrity victims of an alleged burglary gang comprised of mostly teenagers. Suspect Rachel J. Lee, 19, who detectives believe is the ringleader, was arrested in Las Vegas Thursday, and remains in custody. Lee had an apparent fascination with celebrity fashion, a source close to the case tells PEOPLE.

The crime ring is also believed to be responsible for the recent break-ins at the homes of Lindsay Lohan, Audrina Patridge and Orlando Bloom.

Those obessed with becoming celebrities shouldn't shirk from those who are celebrity obsessed. They made their beds...

Will we get in trouble for pointing out that they could not have picked more useless celebrities who have not earned their money to rob?

Seriously, one can never condone a crime, but come on. This does have more than a little tinge of irony here.

Paris Hilton, Audrina Patridge and Lindsay Lohan? Yeah not one of them deserves a single dollar that they've earned. Orlando Bloom, Rachel Bilson, maybe.

But it's not like they're out their robbing Johnny Depp or Meryl Streep. If there is a such a thing as karma, at least three of those people ought to give back every dime they've ever "earned" in their lives.

Lindsay Lohan was a successful and talented actress before she became tabloid fodder. She's worked for every penny she (and her family) has. Paris Hilton's money comes (mostly) from her family. Not sure who Audrina Partridge is.

That said, I'm not sure that the fact that you don't like someone is just cause for their being robbed. I don't know where the idea came from that a person's value is based on their level of acting talent but it really needs to stop.

its never funny when your house has been robbed. it takes a peice of mind away that you cant explain to someone unless its happened to you. but to call these teen group of buffys a gang is pretty funny. the whole story is so absurd. you would think in this day and age they would all have burglar alarms or some sort of security in their houses. 2mil is jewlery and no alarm? really

From where did you get the idea that there was no alarm and no security?

The LA Times story about the Paris Hilton burglary says: "tthe house is equipped with a security system. In addition, the gated community has its own security force"

Of course if you leave the front door unlocked the security system can only do so much.
