Colorado Marijuana Busts: Taxpayer Dollars Wasted When Cops Bust Legal Growers

SUMMIT COUNTY, Colorado -- Sheriff's deputies recently searched a Summit County home where nearly 200 marijuana plants are under cultivation, but the investigation and tax dollars were wasted because the grow operation was legal.

The medical marijuana caregiver has medical records and state-issued registry cards for about 400 people, allowing him to grow up to 2,400 plants.

Misleading headline paired with picture. The DEA isn't active in MM busts. It's the local county Sheriff. By and large they confiscate only those who can't show that they are caregivers. But this just shows how far behind Colorado is compared to Colorado. As soon as they start taxing grow operations they can start generating revenue to grow the renewable energy industry in the state. And further and more significantly, they can kick the Republicans to the curb.

I don't have a single R on my caregiver list. They' still suffering with conventional, dangerous pharmaceuticals and their awful side-effects.
