Jude Law Baby Photo: Samantha Burke Shows Off Sophia, Talks Relationship (PICTURE)

The Floridian who gave birth to Jude Law's daughter in September after a fling with the actor shows off the baby girl, named Sophia, on the cover of Hello! magazine. Samantha Burke, 25, tells the magazine that Law, currently performing 8 shows of "Hamlet" a week on Broadway, has yet to meet the baby or send a gift.

But Burke thinks the baby, who DNA tests proved is Law's fourth child, looks like her famous father.

Burke tells Hello!, "'Her features are more like Jude's. She has his chin and nose, and she does a little pout that I notice that he's done before. I think her eyes are more like mine, though.

"You can't always tell when they're so young but they don't have that big, glassy look that his do - mine are a little smaller and more like hers.'

As for if and when he will meet Sophia, Law, who is in "Hamlet" through December 6, Burke said,
"There are no plans for it to happen at the moment, but I know he's busy."

Burke reportedly got $300,000 for her Hello! spread.

Well, if Jude Law has yet to meet his daughter or even send a gift, I doubt the man has bothered to send any kind of child support/ma­intenance. You cannot blame a single mother in today's economy for taking advantage of this opportunity to get enough money to set aside for her daughter's needs. Plus, it will ensure she doesn't have to return to work, if she has a job, thereby allowing her to be with her baby, caring for and protecting her.

If anyone should be criticized here it's Jude Law and his lack of sensitivity by not even acknowledging the birth of his child. What a jerk. This is, what, his 4th or 5th child with yet another woman? How easy it is to find fault with the woman and excuse the man. Typical...

Jude Law is a fully grown man and father to children through Sadie Frost..He clearly ..CLEARLY knew how to get a woman pregnant. Birth Control is NOT failure proof. Its not ignorance, its not naivety on Jude's part, its negligence.
Men very well know that they need to wear a condom in this day and age irregardless of what a woman is using for HER birth control. There should have been responsibility on BOTH sides of this for birth control. But not only that...wha­t of sexually transmitted disease that EITHER of them could potentially carry.
People just dont want to think that it could happen to them.
Responsibility for prevention lays to both parties having sex.

I am with you. I would prefer to keep the peace in my life and take care of the financial arrangements in a buyout if possible. The child can always approach him when she is older to get to know him. Why is it the child's responsibility to reach out to her father? Why are so many people giving Law a break? The man is irresponsible. Period. There are far too many children growing up as wounded souls because the person who engendered them was irresponsible and careless. These are not commodities or assets to be traded or bought or sold. These are innocent human beings who did not ask to be born and yet come into the world already seen as a burden or mistake. How horrible to treat children this way.

Fatherhood is more than paying a settlement for child support. He should have thought about where he planted it BEFORE he did so, and all the possibilities to have had a child.
