LaToya: Michael Jackson's Kids Are In Therapy, Blanket Is 'Sad, Shy'

Four months after the death" of their father Michael Jackson, his kids Paris, 11, Prince 12, and Blanket, 7, have turned to therapy to cope with their grief, Michael's sister LaToya Jackson tells London's Mirror newspaper.

"Prince just doesn't want to speak about it," LaToya said. "I do worry about him very much."

Thank you,, I was going to comment about how disappointed I was that we didn't get a video clip on this article. I love those kids of his, they are just precious. I think that the family looks a great one to rally around them, I am just concerned about the Jehovah's Witnesses connection.

Blanket is not the youngest son's given name, his given name is Prince Michael II, "Blanket" is his nickname.

Regarding the name Blanket, according to MJ in a documentary:
"Because it's an expression I use with my family and my employees. I say 'you should blanket me' or 'you should blanket her',meaning like a blanket is a blessing. It's a way of showing love and caring."

Maybe being nicknamed Blanket sounds silly and absurd if you don't know why, but within the context it was intended, it's sweet. Blanket has a real name and as young as he is, I am sure he knows what his father meant when MJ nicknamed him that as do his siblings.

Just for the record and for what it's worth.. There is a video floating around on youtube in which MJ mentions that gregory peck and his wife had a dog named blanket. MJ's comments seemed to indicate something approaching delight about the name.

whether this bears any direct connection to the nickname he later gave to his son is open to speculation.. artists frequently appropriate influences.. it might not even be conscious.. there is a phenomenon known as cryptomnesia which means there is an inadvertant adaptation or deployment of an idea etc without conscious recall of a previous association with it..

Where is the proof that the two individuals coming forth with this is telling the truth? Lester and Klein seem to be under the delusion that if you claim to be the bio Father thst somehow it would entitled them to MJ Fortune and control of his children. They presented no proof that this occured; and yet the media and some individuals believe their stories. MJ stated he father the children He and Debbie Rowe but no one believed him with the fact that MJ & Debbie should know never enter the media or some of the accusers head. What you stated is totally illogical. You believed them over MJ because believing anyone is better than believing the truth from Michael Jackson. The Coroner's report summary released a few weeks ago stated that MJ was producing an abundancE of sperm cells and was capable of father many more babies but you choose to believe these two creeps because it is NOT MJ. MJ was not asexual; however, this way many has chosen to view him and he was not a phedophile; yet, that is continued to be believed; you know why?

Latoya's just letting the public know how the children are doing, nothing more. It's great they're in therapy. Prince may never speak about it until he's an adult. After that crazy dr called Prince up to see his d*ad father's body, I'm surprised the child is still sane. EMT has said MJ looked like an old, bald man they didn't even recognize for 10-15 mins. Also the room was a mess--seeing that plus the IV poles and who knows what else. Can you imagine being called into that as a 12 yr old?

It appears MJ raised some very loving children and that he was a wonderful parent. He broke the abusive cycle he grew up in.
