Mark Sanchez Hot Dog Video: Jets QB Eats Hot Dog During Game

It wasn't quite Nate Newton sneaking a Snickers bar in his uniform for a mid-game snack, but Jets QB Mark Sanchez was caught scarfing down a hot dog on the sidelines during Sunday's game against the Raiders.

Sanchez later apologized for the incident, saying that he "wasn't feeling very good" and "a little queasy" and therefore needed something to nosh on.

The Jets beat the Raiders 38-0.

I was at this game yesterday. Sanchez could have taken a cab across the bridge into the City, had a three course meal in North Beach, and still return in time to destroy the Raiders. The loudest applause yesterday was after Russell threw three interceptions after three possessions, he was pulled. Oh yes, it’s a great time to be a Raiders fan.
