Nobody on the surrounding Islands believes de stories of the passengers. They are starting to contradict themselves.
The Pilot is truly a Hero , He was returning home (Curacao) from Bonaire when they crashed. The passengers are hiding something and everybody is starting to see it.

One passenger had enough time to call home when the plane crashed but did not have enough time to help the Pilot?

I sat in the same plane that crashed( 2 years ago) and that thing doesn't even have a cockpit door.

And it is said that when the 9 passengers came back ashore they started blurting to the press that they did everything they could for the Pilot, the reporters didn't even ask the question yet.

I fear its more of the" Save thy own arse and screw the rest" attitude and they are covering their own areses now, by damaging the reputation of the Hero that saved their lives.

I pray he was knocked unconscious before drowning.

Contrast this hero with the dolts on laptops who missed the Mpls airport.

If you're talking about the commuter plane this past ...March?... they had icing on the wings, it wasn't a lap-top, silly.

I don't understand why he wasn't helped? Why didn't someone release his seat belt and take him out? How bad was the landing if everybody got out? Someone explain this to me.

It sounds like he was just too heavy, 'dead weight' if you will, and the passenger just couldn't release the seat belt fast enough.

"Dead weight theory doesn't hold water."
In salt water, the body of a person floats even better than
in fresh water.

Rest in peace, job well done kind sir.

My condolences to his family and friends, but may their sorrow be tempered with the knowledge that he died a hero.
