That pretty well sums up their plan for everything in our society.

We won't make any real advancements until we can relegate this corrupt and clueless party to the history books with the Whigs where they belong. Until then, we will be forever stuck in an alternative universe of rule of the wealthy and nothing but crumbs sifted down to the mass of Americans.

American's revolted against just this model of society when our country was founded. We held the corrupt capitalists more or less at bay for over two hundred years, but since RayGun's assault on America we have become what we escaped. We now have to look to Europe for models that put into reality that which we claim to be. Irony is often sad.

And there you have it, political expediency over American well-being.

The "loyal opposition" is supposed to be able to offer something at the table as an alternative. Thus far, after months and months of nothing, they still have nothing to offer and are going to wait and see what is most politically beneficial to them. Never mind the purpose of this debate (providing affordable healthcare to the citizens of the richest nation on the planet) but , what is going to work to bring down the President. Never mind that a majority of American's voted the man into office based on his promise of overhauling the system. Never mind that a majority of Americans want the reform. Their 'plan', their thinking, their strategy is nothing more than obstruct, confuse, misinform, lie and completely and utterly turn their backs on their duty to the citizens of this nation.

People, we are in extremely difficult times. We, as a nation, are going to have to make some very uncomfortable decisions and take some extraordinary actions to begin to correct course. It's really time to think about the country as a whole instead of red vs blue, dem vs rep. Our "leaders" are extremely poor examples of that, unfortunately.
