UPDATE: Author Says New Book Does Not Claim That Angelina Jolie Slept With Mother's Boyfriend

On Tuesday, The New York Daily News reported that a new book by controversial biographer Andrew Morton revealed that Angelina Jolie had slept with her mother's boyfriend when she was 16.

Radar Online quoted an anonymous source as saying that "[w]hen Ange admitted the story to her brother James just a few weeks ago, even he turned on her. She has hardly anyone left in life who likes or trusts her."

Now, according to Life & Style Weekly, author Andrew Morton has spoken up, saying that the rumors aren't true, and that, while he is writing a biography of Jolie, the book will not make any such accusation. "It's about as true as I'm sitting on this horse," he said.

ya know I just had to read the article again, I don't see anything in that particular article that says she was violated, but so be it if she was that would probably expalin alot of her behavior, you have your opinion I have mine, you obviously are dealing with some kind of deep issues, as for my opiion on tatts and bis why are you so obsessed with what I think? Once a rumor gets out there, it can never be retrieved. Misquotes and comments taken out of context is contagious in the Internet realm. What is read and heard on first blush becomes the truth, not matter how inaccurate, case in point, Joe Jackson's claim that there was a body double in the This is It movie on his son. In truth, the comment was part of a larger statement where he posited that there would be people who will no believe that it was Michael in the movie but a body double. Legitimate news outlet ran with a truncated statement that made it appear that Joe, regardless of your feelings to the man, was leading the charge that there was a body double in it. Tabloid rumors is just like junk mail only junk news and legitimate news organizations are just following the tail of this dog. Do we recall the "balloon boy" hoax? That story should have died the next day when it was discovered to be a hoax.

I recall her making out with her brother years ago at the Academy Awards. She even said she was in love with her brother is an interview before that happened. Dad being an emotionally unavailable republican in her formative years caused some issues. But she's got her life together now and seems empowered and resilient by being a mother.

If I believed everything I had read, than we are all doomed in the year 2012. Obvilously since it is Angelina Jolie, who was not the Adult in the situation, and not Mackenzie Phillips, people commenting here like to judge her for these lies told by another, and other lies that some hasbeen author who wants to milk the fame of Angelina, instead of using his creative writing skills for a real book of substance..
