Hailey Glassman is a beautiful 22-year-old Jewish woman. She can certainly do much better than Jon Gosselin. She can get a real Jewish husband who is not abusive and who has not already had eight children with another woman.
I have been married to my Jewish husband for 45 years. Most Jewish men I have known have been trained by their mothers to be respectful to women. That's why lots of non-Jewish women are out looking for Jewish husbands or even non-Jewish husbands who will treat them as equals.

Maybe it's just me, but when I read something from a person with qestionable motivations that directly conflicts with everything else we've heard and seen about another person, I wait and see what else comes out.

It would be very, very unlikely for a professional d00rmat like Jon to, all of a sudden, turn into a Kate.

And it would be very, very likely for an opportunist like Hailey to continue being an opportunist, especially when keeping her name in the news.

i agree. our personalities are mostly formed before we reach the age of five. if jon was passive before, odds are that he'll always gravitate towards passivity.

The abused becomes the abuser. Remember the way Kate spoke to him? I think he's in desperate need of a therapist, as is Hailey Glassman if she thinks an interview with tabloid television is somehow the equivalent of self-healing.

Does anyone think that Kate may have been reacting to the Jon that the viewing public did not see? The way he is acting since separating from Kate sheds a lot of light on the person Jon really is. Seems to me she was dealing with 9 children one of which acted out when the cameras were off.

I am in total agreement with you on this. I DO believe that the camera's tended to show what would get ratings..its like this with every reality show. Many reality show people have said after the filming that the things shown were taken out of context, edited down to leave out inflammatory issues but not what 'caused' them etc.
So yeah, I do believe that Kate was made to appear as if she was the hateful one without giving any background to what caused her responses.
If I had to deal with a juvenile behaving husband I think I would be ready to pull out my hair. She definitely seems more grown up and responsible than he does. Easy to see why she was cranky..Its a lot of responsibility to shoulder. Some men just dont want to grow up.

People do NOT 'always' act like how they are on TV. Things can be edited, put out of context, and things can also be 'set up' to look like they are one way but are another.
This is how Reality TV works. Watch any reunion show from a reality show and those involved will say that very thing...that producers instigated issues, edited out key information, and basically tried to create drama to create ratings.
