Glendower: I can call spirits from the vasty deep.
Hotspur: Why, so can I, or so can any man;
But will they come when you do call for them?
- William Shakespeare, Henry IV, Part I

I will allow her the consolation of an eternal reunion.....but unfortunately, reality says it all ends here in this rather short life.

Probably not! But you will always have the memories.

But if you do, so much better...

but what if he finds love on the other side, than it makes for a great new movie!

Wow. That sounds like a great round-table. I think there is a bit of healing to be had when you can commiserate with other women, and connect with those who understand. Hopefully Kelly Preston will be able to connect with some of these women later, it would probably help her more than she knows. Lisa's story with Patrick Swayze is always so heartwarming.

You might not...
ghost could be wrong...

plus...
your spirit may be misplaced at another person...
due to industry over use...

that WOULD be a pain.

They were a great couple. I guess it helps people to think they will see loved ones again, even though most of us know that is insane, but it feels good to believe it for someone in the depths of grief. I'm not sure that fantasy is the best, helathiest way to look at it though. Believing it in a vague nice kind of way is not so harmless but it comes with so much nasty baggage because it links with other religious nonsense and before you know it, you have to start being stupid in many areas and of course be better than and hate large groups of people not just like you. religion is OK if it can be used in polite society as a social grace, to get through hard times, but to cling to a lie is not healthy at all I think.

It might be a lie to you , but to alot of other people it is the truth..I would never try to analyze and put my belief into what you believe and I just wish people like you would do the same. I have every bit of respect for what you believe and would never try to tell you that it is wrong...I was brought up to respect people and to have respect for what people believe...

What a beautiful story of true love and commitment. My heart goes out to the Swayze family.
