Stan Koniz, DIA Financial Chief, Placed On Investigatory Leave; Reasons For Discipline In Dispute

Denver International Airport manager Kim Day has put the airport's chief financial officer, Stan Koniz, on "investigatory leave," officials said Thursday.

Koniz, 52, who has been the airport's finance chief for 10 years, said Day cited "insubordination" and "lack of collaboration" among the reasons for her action, along with the claim that Koniz was "overstepping" his authority.
