Anthony Edwards began supporting Shoe4Africa when the nonprofit's main mission was to give shoes to barefoot children in Kenya. Now that the organization has grown, they're looking to build a pediatric hospital at the request of the Kenyan government.
Anthony Edwards ran the New York marathon today to raise money for this effort.

I am a big fan of Anthony's all the way back to 'Top Gun'. When he left 'ER' I stopped watching with any real interest because he was the heart and soul of the department. It is nice to see he has re-surfaced and doing great things. Good luck Anthony.
Another person who I forgot to mention regarding helping the least fortunate overseas is Tia Leoni (sic?). I love watching her and she is such a talent on and off the screen. The history of her and the family regarding UNICEF is really neat, and she is a wonderful lady. David is very lucky to have her!
