I recently came across some pictures and articles I'd saved from election night and the inauguration......I got teary all over again. Such an amazing emotional night - people need to be reminded of the hope and inspirations felt at that moment and not be deterred by old Washington and those try to go back to that.

I have great faith in President Obama. He might always do what I agree with or as quickly as we'd all like......but in the end he will do the right thing.

Let's not. In retrospect, we look like dopey optimists who swallowed Obama's hype hook, line and sinker. Obama from day one has given everything he could to the corporate and financial elite. No change and no accountability for the average citizen. He's more than weak, he's a tool.
11:06 AM on 11/03/2009
You recognize it. Let's move forward.

THIS PRESIDENT HAS DONE MORE IN 9 MONTHS THAN ANY PRESIDENT IN HISTORY. IF YOU THINK IT IS NO ENOUGH...THINK WHAT IF WOULD BE IF McCAIN AND PALIN WERE IN OFFICE.
STOP AND SMELL THE ROSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
10:49 AM on 11/03/2009
LOL. Not sure if you're serious or not.

If you are, Obama is a joke. He hasn't done anything Presidential in his nine months. We're still embroiled in Iraq and Afghanistan without any clear strategy, the Treasury Department is still mis-managing the TARP program, and he keeps getting outed for appointing Marxists and Communists to high-powered positions in his administration.

Everything he claims as a "success" is the result of legislation Congress pushes through. I thought he quit his job as Senator on January 20.

Yes, send images of DUPED AMERICA. One year later, ask the UNEMPLOYED what they think of the past year compared to the election night fairy tale.

These photos are funny. A bunch of wide-eyed stooges, some of whom were literally crying. One year later, how's that hangover, baby?

Jeebs, the anti-America right wingers are up early today.

Obama's already done more for this country in one year than Bush managed to do in eight, or Reagan managed to do in the same period of time. Unfortunately, a lot of the good Obama's been able to do so far has been cleaning up the messes left by his predecessor for following the failed policies of Reaganomics to their logical end.

Once the failures of conservatism are a memory, President Obama can start to really get moving on moving this country closer to our values and potential once again.

And lo, the chorus of the malcontents begins. A pity you have nothing positive to add to life.

You must be a real ray of sunshine to everyone around you.
