Kanye

The New Yorker:

I am not a fan of books. I would never want a book's autograph. I am a proud non-reader of books. I like to get information from doing stuff like actually talking to people and living real life. --Kanye West, promoting his book Thank You and You're Welcome.

Whoever said life is an open book probably didn't have any friends. Sure, he probably liked the people in his book. But did they like him? No. Why? Because they aren't real.

Read the whole story: The New Yorker

A dude who doesn't read is promoting a ghost written book. And he's not even embarrassed.

That explains everything, Con(man)ye!

Kanye, Kanye, Kanye, forgive me for asking: but why'd you write the book? Did someone (Bill, maybe?) tell you it'd be good for your image? Man, I'm glad I'm not your publicist or I'd cringe each time you open your mouth!

Those who read, automatically learn and become more aware. Those who don't, drift further and further apart from others and deeper into ignorance, as life changes and the world develops, until such times are they are no longer of any value to society. I suggest, Mr West, that if you read nothing else you should invest in a copy of my book, Randolph's Challenge Book One - The Pendulum Swings - you might find some valuable thoughts in there. I'll even autograph it if you want because, good as it is, it can't autograph itself!

Sounds like a Republican. They have a fear of facts and reading themselves.

That he is proud shows a monumental hubris that is his own lack of interest, curiosity or inability to read read. Personally believe it is the later. Who would say some thing so inane and self deprecating?

WOW. Proud to be an illiterate, rude, egotistical, thug. Iddioooot.

There is no justice in the universe, else so many talented musicians and songwriters wouldn't be taken in their prime, and Kanye would have been deposited on a tissue and flushed.

It's not uncommon for someone to hate what they don't understand.

Well that explains a lot.

"I would never want a book's autograph."

I wasn't aware that books were capable of giving out autographs.

Still, The New Yorker story is pretty funny, making fun of Kanye.
