Jodie Sweetin: I Faked Sobriety, Hid Drug Use (VIDEO)

Former "Full House" child star Jodie Sweetin has an autobiography, "Unsweetined: A Memoir," coming out chronicling her battle with drugs and alcohol, her two marriages and her baby daughter.

"Everybody has to go through things like this; some of us have to do it more publicly," Sweetin told Matt Lauer. "But I'm just really fortunate that I get to be honest and live my life the way I want to now."

Sweetin first started drinking alcohol at co-star Candace Cameron's wedding in 1996 and HER alcohol abuse spiraled into drug use.

In addition to snorting meth at the Olsen twins movie premiere of "New York Minute" in 2004, she said she always traveled through airports with drugs on her.

When she was 20, she married a cop with the LAPD, but her drug use only got worse.

"At the time I started doing the hard drugs, the methamphetamine and coke and stuff, it was a lot easier to hide than drinking," Sweetin said.

She went to rehab in 2007, the press caught on, and she was offered a lot of money to speak about her sobriety. But as she tells Lauer, she used the speaking fees to pay for more drugs. At one 2008 speak at Marquette, she came off a 5 am cocaine bender to speak about her sobriety. WATCH HER 2 SEGMENTS:
