Kate Gosselin: The Kids Have Changed Under Stress Of Public Divorce (VIDEO)

The Gosselin kids are having trouble dealing with the media circus surrounding their parents' divorce, Kate tells Natalie Morales in an interview to air on TLC Monday night, a day after Jon's public recalibration of his moral compass at a New York City synagogue.

"She said some of the kids are starting to show signs of stress and behavioral changes," Morales told Meredith Viera on the Today Show Monday morning. Below you can watch some teased excerpts from the "brutally honest" interview.

"You look around and very close, trusted people who you swear on your life would never ever, ever cash you in, for lack of better words, and those people do that," Kate told Morales. "When people leave your house and tell completely different stories, you tend not to trust people."

Morales asked, "Who do you have on your side now?"

"A very, very small group of people," Kate said.

Morales also told Viera that Kate dismissed rumors of her hooking up with her bodyguard as "outrageous" and said that Jon was the one who brought those stories to the tabloids.

'Kate: Her Story' airs Monday night at 9 on TLC.

This woman is delusional.
I heard her say quite clearly that the children don't even know the word "paparazzi," and when challenged on that statement, she said that if they do know it, it's not through her doing.
Does she actually not remember all the times we've watched her on television talking about paparazzi to the children? Because I've seen her do it time and time again.
I think she has the sort of sociopathic personality that enables her to believe whatever she says at the moment is true.

Why is it that Jon says that half the house is his? The house is in both J & K names she just says it is for the kids. Isn't everything she does for the kids?

The kids wanted her to buy a $70,000 SUV that seats 5 when there are 8 kids.

The kids wanted a new kitchen yet K is never there to cook.

The kids want their mother to keep the local Starbucks afloat.

The kids want to support K's shoe fettish -- you can't have enough hooker heels.

The kids want to make sure that they earn enough to let Kate have a HOT bodyguard/lover.

The kids want to be left in the care of Kates best friend who is shown manhandling the kids on the internet.

The kids want Kate to keep a wooden spoon on the door slot of the van so that they can gratefully accept beatings when K loses her temper.

The kids want K to lock herself into the master bedroom. After all, they were allowed in only once & they should be happy.

The kids love Kate for abusing their pets & for them to have to been sent away.

Don't we all wish that we could have a mom like K? The trips to Hawaii, Utah and Disneyland do not in any way make up for the abuse she metes out to these little ones.

I agree with you 100% , TLC & her will not let the truth be shown on TV. Now she wants to have her own talk show or get into acting. she sure loves to be on TV. All the time she spends book touring and appearing on TV is time she is away from her kids..T feel sorry for the kids to have a life like they have. They never asked for that life... Jon & Kate spent a lot of money on invetro to have all those kids at such new marriage and them being so young at the time... They were not mature enough to take on a big responsibility like they did, they are both very foolish and now the kids suffer for it. they will grow up with absents. And will be raised by baby sitters. Sad just really sad.

This was a joke. Kate belittled her husband, treated him like an idiot in front of millions of viewers and he went nuts. She wanted the divorce because he wanted out of the show. If you've been divorced you know it can get pretty rude and sometimes not like the person you actually knew. Not to unusual in a divorce. Jon stayed home and babysat all the time Kate was out promoting her book and doing tours. She was making more money and he stayed home with the kids he was not out of work for no reason. The only thing different about the two is she has a better PR crisis manager.

I think a lot of it is jealousy. She turned what could have been a very rough situation into a positive for the kids with the show. They did get so many wonderful trips and experiences out of it. You can tell the kids liked it, too. Can't fake that with kids.

They now have trust funds set up and a solid foundation. Jon's move to stop the show was selfish, obviously based on his own money drying up. And his actions may lead to having to sell the house, etc., but I think Kate will figure out a way to support the family.

That's probably pretty intimidating to a lot of people. She's been successful.

Divorce affects men too. most men get deprived of parenting, and the courts and the public most always sides with the mother and just want money from the men... it's hard for the man to get to see the kids it the women wants to be ugly about it.
I have been on this end of it before.. have seen my ex cry over wanting to see his kids and all ex wanted was money.. and she was the one to ask and get the divorce. my ex paid dearly, kids believed everything his ex told them...
Kate also said she tells the kids everything even down to telling them she wont be wearing her wedding ring anymore. what does that matter to the kids ? they would never have noticed ,she could and did replace the ring... she could have done it with out the kids knowing. she just want pity.

This woman is the definition of narcissist. A large part of those tears are a result of the blow to her vanity and facination with herself. Even when her kids are struggling as a result of her decisions she will not see her role in it.
Nacissism also shows in the reference to her family and her lack of involvement with them because "other people have an opinion". Perhaps they warned her against this avenue of money making?
Having said that Natalie Morales might as well have stayed home and let Kate interview herself...

Her calling jon on his taking money from their accounts (JOINT ACCOUNTS) while she does the same thing, her using her kids as tools to get "Sympathy" when anyone with an open mind saw she was just as bad as Jon. If not she was worse than jon for the mental abuse she handed out like halloween candy.

Try having an open mind, and not get all bent out of shape that your TV hero kate is getting a bad light.

BINGO!!! And don't forget when she keeps saying "the old Jon"...... how she wants him back and how Jon got off track and he wanted something different. What's she's meaning there is Jon did not want the show for the kids anymore. He wanted so have their lives be normal where HE could be a MAN and provide for his family. Kate means she want "the old Jon" back because he made a good punching bag and would feed her narcissistic illness hourly. THAT's the Jon she wants back and the "like they were" she wants again. It's is a horrible blow to her personality illness that he exercised his right to be a person OUTSIDE of her permission. I only hope SOMEONE makes sure those kids don't sufffer the same emotional punching bag status Jon did. Early in the show Maddy REALLY was disturbed by the presence of cameras. It altered her behavior and I'm sure it has altered all of those young kids' personalities. No question. Does Kate care? NO. Not so long as she can feed her narcissistic persoanlity disorder. Narcissists also frequently create drama so they can become the focus. MUCH of that is some really sick maniuplation which she excels at.

The interview was harsh and as someone you hasn't got one penny from her ex-husband who, conveniently has not worked in 8 years, I completely understand Kate's plight as the sole responsible parent.. How is she to pay for 9 people on a nurse's salary? If the media left her alone, and theTLC crew films them only a couple of hours a day, how is that so terrible?
