Tonight, PBS airs "The People V. Leo Frank," a documentary that chronicles the bizarre, ugly case of Leo Frank. Frank was a Cornell-educated industrialist, and the only known Jew to be lynched in America, but that's only one part of this twisted story that is mired in racial prejudice, class conflict, and conspiracy. It started with the murder of 13-year-old Mary Phagan, who worked at Frank's factory in Atlanta. Once Frank was put on trial for her murder, it all spirals down from there.
