Former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic, center background, is watched by journalists in the courtroom of the U.N.'s Yugoslav war crimes tribunal in The Hague. Radovan Karadzic appears in the courtroom for the first time since his trial began last week on charges of ordering Serb atrocities throughout the Bosnian war. Karadzic has boycotted the trial's first three days, saying he has not had enough time to prepare his defense even though he was indicted in 1995.
