Minutes before Mayor Bloomberg announced his victory, Bill Thompson delivered his concession speech to a disheartened crowd.
After a brief surge of hope that the race was not the runaway the polls had shown it to be, Thompson supporters were disappointed to learn that Bloomberg still pulled off a win.
