Colorado Inmates Getting H1N1 Vaccine As Thousands Of Coloradans Wait

People all over Colorado are desperately waiting to get the H1N1 vaccine before they or their children gets sick. While many are finding it hard to get, 7NEWS discovered inmates in at least one local jail will be getting the vaccine this week.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said they received 110 doses this week. They have about 1,300 inmates. The vaccine will be distributed to inmates considered high risk by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, along with staff members who work closely with sick inmates.

OH GOD YES, make sure those illegal alien criminals get vacinated first, wouldn't wanna offend all those criminal aliens or their welfare dependant familys. And remember your car insurance is going to go up now that YOU voted not to get all those unlicensed and uninsured cars off the road.

Now the first part of this is really superficial, but I share the concern about Denver defeating the impoundment issue. Maybe if the impoundment had been mandatory instead of optional it would have flown. Revoked license or no insurance? Impound it, whether it's a new luxury car or an old junker. Don't give police that option to let it be driven home for one person but impound someone else's car.

come on - desperately waiting?? By giving vaccine to those who are in closed quarters prevents those who are caring for them to get it and to then expose their families. The Denver Channel reporter should read the book on the 1918 influenza outbreak to understand that military troops were some of the first to get it and die in large numbers because they were in communal living situations. Stop creating a hysteria where there is none.
