Personally­, I'd love it if they kept going with the 'purity' party movement. A republican­- sorry, conservati­ve(no one's republican anymore) party made up of only middle age and elderly white people works fine for me. Let them have the constituen­ts only they want. By the time they figure out the fatal error in that, it'll be too late.
