Olbermann Slams Beck For Exploiting 9/11: "Go To Hell" (VIDEO)

Keith Olbermann slammed Glenn Beck Tuesday night, naming him "Worst Person in the World" for exploiting the 9/11 attacks and telling him to "go to hell."

Olbermann read Beck's recent comments on health care reform, in which he compared his anti-health-care reform advocacy to pre-9/11 shouts about Osama bin Laden.

"Ten years ago, I could have shouted every single day about Osama bin Laden and his wacky, crazy threats to kill Americans in New York," Olbermann quoted Beck as saying. "And nobody would have been willing to stand in line for two hours while some security officer made grandma take her shoes off. No one would have done it. But don't you see, while the government is still not willing to do these things, today America is different. America has changed. Washington, we're not going to let you get away with it anymore. The 9/12ers are willing to stand in line and take our shoes off before the plane actually hits the tower."

"You and the 9/12ers have the nerve to exploit 9/11 for your lousy TV ratings?" Olbermann responded. "You cannot make light of 9/11, nor bandy about as if your petty political grievances are comparable to it, and still be an actual patriotic American. In short, Glenn, 9/12ers, if you're invoking 9/11 to oppose health care reform, go to hell."

I did not see it. I generally go to Fox when I want to watch news.

Sometimes, I watch Olbermann or Maddow instead of Forensic files or the National Geographic channel. They fall in the same category.

Sometimes my wife doesn't like it when I watch America's Worst Car Accidents, so I'll watch Olbermann instead. It's almost as good as peering into a psyc ward.

Now there's an original headlines ! Olberman screaming about something Beck says. All Olberman does is talk about what Beck, O'Reilly Hannity or anyone on FOX News channel said the night before. Of course, it's all to the delight of the lib haters. Either he has a "man crush" on those guys or he can't come up with any original material on his own. Hey Keithy, if people wanted to know what Beck, Hannity or O'Reilly says they can just tune into the FOX News channel. Apparently, people do tune in to them. Look at their ratings and look at yours. As always, I'm sure Beck appreciates the free press. It's all good for him. LOL !!!

I can't get his show and have to settle for clips off the internet. Usually I find him a bit caustic and 'too full of himself'. But usually he is spot on in his analysis. This time is no different - he is absolutely right to call out people who use a the tragedy of 9/11 to promote their own narrow-minded agenda.

It's been the GOP mantra for 8 years and diminishes the horror of the event.

Mr. Keith seems like everything that happen on 9/11 can only be seen his way. Everyone went through that day in one way or another and Mr. Keith is too rude and honestly not very entertaining. He might try putting himself on his worst people in his world segment as he has a bit of ego to think he represents "the world" when his show in last place. I think it's there because people like hearing different points of view but he seems to get off the point and try and attack people personally, like who makes him judge and jury? He isn't the only one but he's about the worst.

although i am a bigger fan of KO as a sportscaster, i do believe he is right in calling out people who regularly use 9/11 to "scare" up ratings. those who do not only do a disservice to all those who lost their lives but also to their families. i cannot imagine anyone watching the beckster's show and who lost someone in that tragedy say "hey, i think you're right!"...
