Walter Scheib, the executive White House chef during the Clinton and Bush administra­tions: "'Let’s remember: the guy’s a cook,' Mr. Scheib said. 'There are people who are much more qualified to talk about nutrition than cooks.'" -- That sounds incredibly backwards. Why aren't people who prepare food sufficient­ly qualified to talk about the reason why we eat food? It's like saying a pharmacist isn't qualified enough to talk about medicine.
