James Gandolfini PUNCHES Photographer (VIDEO)

'The Sopranos' may be over, but James Gandolfini is still acting like a mobster. On Halloween he assaulted a photographer who was trying to videotape him shopping in NYC's West Village for New York website Guest of a Guest.

Near the end of the clip the photog's mom can be heard yelling, "Get away from my son!"

Last year Gandolfini punched an autograph-seeking fan at JFK Airport.

He should have punched him harder. There should be no laws against assaulting the paparazzi. It should be encouraged.

I am SOOOOOO glad I didn't say hello or ask for a photo when I happened to be walking on the sidewalk in NYC as he stepped out of an SUV at the side entrance to a theater near Broadway. He's a big guy and surely could have caused me much pain.

While I can certainly understand not wanting to be followed or bothered by photographers, I DON"T understand a person who chooses to make a career out of public adoration, then bites the same hand that feeds them by beating up on photographers and the like. They make millions off of us, but want to keep their lives private. Doesn't work that way. Public figures are just that - PUBLIC. Love it and live with it or become an engineer that nobody cares about!
