I did not read anywhere that they were trying to make it so that the mother could never see her daughter again. Just because the father gets custody does not mean the mother is out of the picture. If the mother is abusing drugs and lives with a dangerous felon, then yes, the daughter should be living with her father...and then the mother can have visitation-perhaps supervised if she can not stay clean. If the mother is adamant about retaining custody then she should step up and do the right thing by dropping the boyfriend, entering rehab, or at least agreeing to drug tests. I do not get all of the over-the-top comments about Bullock...­especially considering the fact that the mother said she was a great stepmother. Is it so difficult to believe that Bullock sincerely wants what is best for this child? If the mother gets her life together, it is not as if she can not petition the court to get custody back...this could just be a temporary fix.

The child will always want to know her mother and photos show she was happy to spend time with her. Jesse and Sandra use their wealth and fame to smear his ex-wife as much as possible. What does she have to fight back with, she doesn't have the money, she is being attacked, they are trying to take away any contact wiht her daughter, if she speaks to the press, that is her only possible defense against rich famous powerful people.

And the father left Janine for Sandy when Janine was seven mouths pregnant and didn't have anything to do w/ the kid for the first three yrs of her life.

Well, he certainly pulled himself up from nothing and made a life for himself and many others with his business. He may not have a stellar personality but he is likeable and smart.

As for his taste in women, it seems fashionable for male celebs to date/marry porn stars for some reason. I'm not sure why. Once you get past the sex, most are pretty skanky. He obviously realized that and remedied the situation.
