Rick Perry: Let States Guide Health Care Reform

Washington Post:

Congress is on the verge of enacting the largest unfunded mandate in American history. At a time when most states are struggling with rising unemployment, declining tax revenue and the worst national economic climate in 30 years, Congress is demonstrating that it is more out of touch than ever.

The Democratic health "reform" bill in the Senate would require states to expand Medicaid to include all people earning up to 133 percent of the federal poverty level, or $29,327 for a family of four. House Democrats want to require expansion to 150 percent of the poverty level, or $33,075 for a family of four. Even Texas, which has a balanced budget and nearly $9 billion in its rainy-day fund, isn't prepared to absorb this type of blow.

Governor Rick Perry should keep his mouth shut. He should not be talking about this subject as though he is an expert. He does not want his state to be part of the United States. Why is he talking about anything related to Americans?

My governor is an embarrassment! Sorry about that one, folks.

Let Texas guide health care reform?

Isn't that like the deaf, dumb and blind leading the deaf, dumb and blind?

Rick Perry, my state governor, the Texas joke. Any savings in Texas flowing from tort reform come not from decreasing malpractice, but from kicking the victims of malpractice to the curb. They are savings achieved on the backs of the injured.

Please DON'T let Texas decide about Texans' healthcare. Texas consistently ranks at the bottom of money provided for their citizens' health needs. You know there is a reason Texans only let their Legislature meet every 2 years. That way they can only do half as much damage to our state.

Rick Perry: Let Texas Guide Health Care Reform
His State Leads Nation With Over 25% Uninsured

Hey Rick that really looks like a shining example of a model healthcare system... Tell ya what Rick why not make good on your promise and seceed I'm sure NASA will relocate all of its operations elsewhere. Also the military would have to leave the and what is, oh ya your state has the highest number of bases more than any other state. I'm sure other states looking for jobs will take those bases off your hands too. Di it Rick become part of Mexico :-) you can't make this stuff up.

Governor Perry, I suggest you stop offering advice to the rest of the US. You're the guy who:

--refuses to investigate the possibility that an innocent man was executed on the basis of junk arson science

--refused to accept all of Texas's allotted stimulus funds for unemployment benefits, bragged about it, then came to Washington 3 months later begging for millions to cover Texas's unemployment benefits

--suggested that Texas would be better off seceding; please do so, just remember all Texas's federal facilities revert back to the US

Rick Perry, proud member of the Republican Party, soon to be known as the Chauvinist Party.

From Wikipedia:

"Chauvinism, (pronounced /ˈʃoʊvɨnɪzəm/), in its original and primary meaning, is an exaggerated, bellicose patriotism and a blind belief in national superiority and glory. [1] By extension it has come to include an extreme and unreasoning partisanship on behalf of any group to which one belongs, especially when the partisanship includes malice and hatred towards a rival group. Jingoism is the British parallel form of this French word. [1]A contemporary use of the term in English is in the phrase male chauvinism.[2 ]"

Unfortunately, Republicans will not be able to either spell or pronounce their party's new name.

Little Ricky's plan is to execute the uninsured or let them die off through attrition.
