I hope this helps others in the same situation http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3ujgzwEuIg
What a loser!!! Somebody put him out of his misery. I have a feeling that he is going to have so many scandals that they will have to put them in its own magazine.
The article synopsis above is contrarian to say the least. "while he supports her right to speak out, he wishes she had kept quiet." What the frack?
How do you not look as ridiculous as another performer who recently said "yeah I don't read books but you should buy mine..."
These guys are naturals for political office with these comments!!
Yes, I am being sarcastic.
This was a public matter the minute the picture was leaked to the media. He didn't want it to stay private when he was posing with Rihanna for publicity pictures to improve his image. Every Abuser wishes his Victim would remain silent. Tough for him! He was tried in court and convicted, which makes it a public record. It's more important tp let young girl's know that she was wrong to go back to him and that although you don't have to hate you attacker, you can stand up to abuse.
Just the looks of this pompous dork make me uncomfortable, I have never heard his music, but I'm sure it is vacant.
Of course he wants Rihanna to remain silent. He knows his career's in a grave and Rihanna's holding the shovel. It's funny reading some of the comments of some of the women and some men on here. Defending Rampage Brown and bashing Rihanna. If Chris Brown was 5'4", looked like Flavor Flav but could sing and dance, y'all would be the first in line carrying torches and pitchforks ready to bash him. But because he's 6'1", light-skinned with dimples and can sing and dance, it's Rihanna's fault that Chris Brown beat her. He could have hit her for no reason and some of y'all would be saying what did she do to him. It's sickening.
Yeah! How dare she require emergency medical attention after the beating he gave her.....of all the nerve! Rhianna should have contained the bruising and bleeding inside her body where no one can see it.
I BET he'd like her to "keep this matter" between them. Then he can pretend it didn't happen.
Your title is completely wrong. No were in his statement did he say!
I watched the 20/20 interview. The young lady did mention that chris pushed or shoved her before. She said he really didn't hurt her at the time. She needs help to understand the cycle of abuse. He started abusing her in little ways and he and she became a little more accustomed to his behavior. He may say he is sorry, and sure, he is sorry for getting found out, losing his girlfriend, and the bad press, but when he says he wishes she would be "quiet", he is not sorry for what he did. She said she resents him and what he did and hopefully she will stay away from this bad boy.
She is stunning........
Why does that not surprise me?
Just like Whitney had to go on TV and tell her story before she dropped her CD. Rhianna had to do the same. If she came out with a new album and tried to ignore the questions, people would hound her to talk about it. She controlled the situation by talking about it on her own terms. Good for her.
Domestic violence is deadly serious. My cousin was stabbed to death by her husband in front of her children because she planned to leave him. Rhianna was lucky because some women do not get a 2nd chance.
I am shocked by how many people are on Rhianna's case. She is brave to talk about it because many women do not. Perhaps if my cousin had talked about her domestic violence situation someone could have helped her and she would be alive today.
Silence is deadly. Hopefully this is a wake up call to some women that being abused is NOT ok and that they should speak out and seek help..
I am so sorry about your cousin. I like your comment and your thoughtfulness about this terrible syndrome. Fanned.
